Spiritualitas Pengajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen sebagai Fondasi Praktik Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah
Abstract
This paper focuses on examining the spirituality of Christian Religious Education teachers in relation to school-based management. Dasariah, this topic is studied because research trends related to teacher spirituality still focus on the personal level of teachers and students, and have not yet touched on management aspects. The main research question posed is what are the challenges and dynamics of implementing spirituality in relation to MBS? In conducting this study, the researcher used a qualitative method with an analytical-conceptual approach. The findings of this study indicate that the spirituality of Christian Education teachers significantly contributes to shaping the school's organizational culture. Additionally, the spirituality of teachers with the principle of autonomy in school-based management places management freedom as a shared responsibility. However, the implementation of spirituality in this MBS often faces obstacles from the structural aspects inherent in the formal education system, as well as the reduction of spirituality to a symbolic and purely ceremonial level in schools.
ABSTRAK: Tulisan ini berfokus menelaah spiritualitas pengajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam kaitan manajemen berbasis sekolah. Dasariah topik ini dikaji karena kecenderungan penelitian terkait spiritualitas pengajar masih bertumpu pada tataran personal pengajarnya, nara didik dan belum menyentuh pada aspek manajemen. Rumusan pertanyaan penelitian utama yang diajukan apa yang menjadi tantangan dan dinamika implementasi spiritualitas dalam keterkaitan dengan MBS? Di dalam mengerjakan kajian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analitis-konseptual. Hasil temuan kajian ini mengemukakan bahwa spiritualitas pengajar PAK berkontribusi signifikan dalam membentuk budaya organisasi sekolah. Selain itu spiritualitas pengajar dengan prinsip otonomi dalam manajemen berbasis sekolah menempatkan kebebasan pengelolaan sebagai tanggung secara bersama. Akan tetapi pengimplementasian spiritualitas dalam MBS ini sering menemukan hambatannya dari aspek struktural yang melekat pada sistem pendidikan formal, serta terjadinya pereduksian spiritualitas menjadi simbolik dan sebatas seremonial di sekolah.
